HNM will provide routine prospective audits and prepare monthly audit reports for your compliance committee. We’ll present the material to your compliance committee addressing any questions and aid in the implementation of Committee recommendations. If your group does not have a plan, we’ll work with you and your legal team to develop a plan that meets OIG requirements for the size and complexity of your practice. We have educational programs for physicians, other licensed professionals and staff.

HIPAA Compliance Programs
HNM has compliance programs in place for electronic submissions and security of all patient PHI (Protective Health Information). We can help your practice become HIPAA compliant for patient privacy and security programs.

Coding Audits
Should your group elect to code for its professional services, our certified personnel can perform third party audits in conjunction with your attorney.

Education
HNM invests in continuing education courses and maintains an up-to-date library of specialty specific books, journals, newsletters and course materials. When codes change or documentation standards change, we provide our clients with informative memos with supporting documentation on the changes.

HNM can provide templates for coding, charge capture, privacy notices and Advance Beneficiary Notices (ABN).
